Sharon Jones
Sharon has over 20 years experience in the charitable foundations and philanthropy sector. She is currently Head of Impact at Mission 44, Sir Lewis Hamilton’s charitable foundation supporting young people from underserved communities.
She has a long history in driving investment in social justice and addressing inequity working with The National Lottery Community Fund, Children in Need and Youth Futures Foundation amongst others.
Sharon is also Vice Chair of the Co-op Foundation and as a proud northerner helped to set up the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity where she served as a trustee for three years.
Her own personal experience of breast cancer has ignited a passion to transform everyone’s cancer experience. Ensuring there’s equitable access to trusted information at all stages of the cancer journey will forever be her ambition”
