Cancer Black Care celebrations
Back in January we invited our Founding Partners Cancer Black Care to host their New Years celebration at our offices at Level39, Canary Wharf Group.
Cue an afternoon of inspirational speeches, discussion, music, food and drink in celebration of the work they do as a not-for-profit support organisation for people living with cancer and their caregivers, with an emphasis on the black community.
We first connected with Cancer Black Care over a year ago, to start our work together listening to the experiences of those within the black community who have been impacted by cancer, to ensure their journeys and experiences are heard and applied to our development of Cancer Platform.
A big part of our mission is to lean into the known inequalities in cancer navigation by working with and supporting organisations like Cancer Black Care to amplify the invaluable work they do and to improve the futures of others.
Through the music connections of sibling brand, Evamore Music, we were able to secure a special welcome video to all in attendance. Thanks you Nile Rodgers!
